At All Ways Network, we know the impact of sharing our learning makes more impact to aid the understanding of the groups who we support. Working together with others whose own goals are aligned to our own allows us to have honest conversations and tackle these challenges head on.
Below are some examples of partnership work we have done in the past:
Volunteer Action Camden
At AWN, we’re proud to work closely with Volunteer Action Camden (VAC) to support charities across Camden. Through our partnership, we helped local charities by listening to their needs, offering tailored support, and providing follow-up guidance to help them grow stronger.
Together with VAC and Camden Council, we also supported organisations in understanding how to write effective bids for a council funding programme that reopened after a long break.
We really value our close working relationship with VAC – it's all about coming together to help local groups thrive and make a real difference in the community.
Governance Partnership with Small Charity Support (SCS)
We work closely with the team at SCS to best support our members needs. Where we are unable to support them, the team at SCS has been on hand to support with issues ranging from converting from a CIC to CIO, trust deed and general governance issues.
Heritage Lottery
AWN is pleased to have worked with the Heritage Fund, alongside their Policy Project Manager, to explore better ways of reaching Muslim charities. Together, we focused on building understanding around how to engage with these organisations in a respectful and culturally sensitive way.By sharing our insights and experience, we helped the Heritage Fund learn more about the needs and values of Muslim communities, so they can offer more inclusive and meaningful support in the future.
