Funder and Engagement Officer
Location:Remote (UK-based). Ideally the candidate is based in London or surrounding areas.
Contract:Full time
Salary: £32,000 + pension + 30 days including bank holidays and 2 days for Eid
We’re on the lookout for a proactive and passionate individual to join our team as our Funder and Engagement Officer. This role is perfect for someone who thrives on relationship-building, storytelling, and securing resources to fuel grassroots change. You’ll help us grow our impact by cultivating funder relationships, supporting grant applications, and championing AWN’s mission with energy and purpose.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain relationships with funders and partners
- Identify and pursue funding opportunities
- Craft compelling narratives for funding bids
- Help shape our engagement strategy and public voice
You’ll bring:
- Strong communication skills
- Experience in fundraising or community engagement
- An understanding of intersectional feminism and social justice values
- Energy, initiative, and a collaborative spirit
